Admission: Registration Procedure for New Students

All newly candidates whose names are on the Admission list should please note and comply with the under listed step by step process of registration in the university:
  1. The candidates should Proceed to FUTO Microfinance Bank Ltd., FUTO Campus and pay a non refundable Acceptance Fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000.00) only and collect Bank Teller which should be exchanged with a University Official Receipt from Student Accounts Unit.
  2. Proceed to the Registry (Admissions Unit) for collection of Admission Acceptance Form and Validity Form.
  3. Proceed to the Department where admission has been offered to you, with::
    • University Official Receipt for payment of Acceptance Fee.
    • Original and photocopy of all credentials claimed together with a copy of WAEC/NECO Statement of Result signed and stamped by the principal of the school attended. Originals and photocopies of Birth Certificate or Statutory Declaration of Age, Certificate of Local Government of Origin are also required.
  4. Collect Clearance Form (Form 6) from the Department. Those whose Clearance Forms are not approved by the Department should proceed to the Registry (Admissions Unit) for change of Department Form after which they pay N5,000.00 (Five Thousand Naira) only to the Bursary and submit the completed form to the Special Admissions Committee for processing. Such candidates are advised not to pay any other fee until alternative course/department is secured for them. The candidate should then proceed to his/her new department to continue the clearance process. Note that candidates who are not registrable in any Department will forfeit their admission.
  5. All fresh students, AFTER CLEARANCE, should pay their school fees at the FUTO Microfinance Bank Limited on campus. Thereafter, all students should register on-line on www.futoeduportal.com. Note: Students who fail to pay their school fees may loose their admission
  6. Proceed to the designated points where registration materials (in Green Files) are issued to candidates in their respective Departments / Schools with Forms 6 (Clearance Form) obtained from the Department. All payment receipts and copies of credentials must be submitted to the Unit.
The Undertaking Form should be processed for stamp-duty at the Sub-Treasury by the candidates themselves.
