Resumption for the 2008/2009 Academic Session
This is to inform all old students of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri that registration and classes have commenced.
All 200 - 500 level students are hereby directed to return to campus and to conclude on-line registration on or before November 14, 2008 after payment of school fees in the designated banks. Failure to do so will attract sanction.
Similarly, all intending freshmen and women are expected to check the University website- http://www.futongr.com/web on November 3, 2008 for the provisional admission list with scratch cards earlier used to access the Post-UME results. All successful candidates are directed to pay their acceptance fees, to complete registration and resume classes by November 10, 2008 or forfeit the admission.
Mode of Payment of Fees
All students should take note of the banks at which they will pay their fees as stated hereunder
- All year 1 (Fresh Students) - FUTO Micro Finance Bank on campus
- All old students of School of Engineering and Engineering Technology - Intercontinental Bank or Oceanic Bank (any Owerri Branch)
- All old students of the School of Science - GTB Bank or EcoBank Douglas Road, Owerri.
- All old Students of School of Health Technology - WEMA Bank, Owerri
- All old students of School of Agric. and Agricultural Technology - Zenith Bank, Douglas Road, Owerri
- All old students of School of Management Technology - UBA, Wetheral Road Branch or Fidelity Bank, Ikenegbu, Owerri
- All Pre-Degree students - FCMB or FUTO Micro Finance Bank on campus
- All Postgraduate students - Diamond Bank, Wetheral Road, Ikenegbu, Owerri
- All students offered accommodation - FUTO Micro Finance Bank on campus
- All students are required to provide for the AFRIHUB ICT fee of N5, 000 per student.
